The idea to extend a forum  event   emerges in 2008  and gets implemented in  Belem WSF2009   Belem expanded 2009 http://openfsm.net/projects/openpagefsm2009/pag1-fr

Distance Encouters are held between groups and their delegates in belemand local activities  are regsitred in the WSF 2009 program

 sfex initiative  ( social forum extended )  is started during  2009, with support of WSF IC communication commission du CI   

During year  2010  it is  proposed to various organizing committees to adapt the idee and implement it according to their conditions  desire and ressources

and the practice of enlarging activities on internet  and using  specific language space  in a flower structure are  started  

All this  expérience is made avaialable for WSF 2011 extended   with notions  of  step by step  preparation accompaniment , anticipation , and proposal to contribute with volunteers and equipment in dakar ,   and concern to sustain simple and replicable technical solutions accessible to non specialists

Sfex initiative facilitation team , is moving with the will to 

support development of autonomous  remote intercommunication practices between  groupes participating  in WSF processus

The team grows including persons who have built a concrete experience inremote participation support /facilitation
