The Association pour la taxation des transactions pour l'aide aux citoyens (Association for the Taxation of Financial Transactions for the Aid of Citizens, ATTAC) is an activist organization for the establishment of a tax on foreign exchange transactions.

ABF stands for Arbetarnas Bildningsförbund (the Workers’ Educational Association), and its focus on social class is no less important today than it was when the association was started in 1912. That’s why we want to give the most to those who have received the least. The ABF is a politically independent organisation, but we share the values of the labour movement.

Lars Pålsson Syll, nationalekonom och professor i samhällskunskap vid Malmö Högskola ger en bild av finanskrisen.

Per-Erik Persson presenterar JAK-banken och alternativ till dagens banksystem.
De förslag till lösningar som väckts inom den globala rättviserörelsen presenteras och diskuteras.

Financial crisas - and now what?

Will we restore the speculation economy and carry on with business as usual - or should we seize this moment and build a fair and sustainable society?
Lars Pålsson Syll, economist and professor of civics at Malmö University will present an overview of the financial crisis.
Per-Erik Persson will present the JAK bank and altetnatives to todays banking system.
The suggestions of solutions to the crises from the global social movements will be presented and discussed.
